For our Recombinant Product Development department in Marburg we are looking for an

Intern Viral Vector Process Development (m/f/d) – Cell Line Development - R-207984

Join CSL Behring's enthusiastic, collaborative viral vector team and provide support for cell line development (CLD) of lentiviral vectors. You will be involved in cell line development, lentivirus production and purification work. This includes hands-on experimental work in the delivery of state-of-the-art viral production processes, expressing of viral vector as well as preparation of media and buffers and other materials used in production processes.  

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Performing experimental work including data analysis and communicating results to manager or project team in form of a report or a presentation

• Evaluation of results

• Operation of complex devices and processing/ preparation of raw data

• Collection, preparation, and distribution of samples/data in coordination with other departments

• Creation and maintenance of records within internal documentation systems

• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment in cooperation with internal or external service providers

Experience in the following areas is an advantage:

• Cell culture technologies

• Experience in mammalian bioreactor or downstream process (purification) is a plus

Qualifications & Experience:

• A University Degree in a relevant field of Science (e.g. Bachelor of Science in biology)

• Very good spoken and written English
